This means that we understand the needs of adult learners and we know how to make sure that they feel well supported and get the best possible outcomes from their course.
We are here to support you, whether you want to learn a new skill, gain a qualification to progress to further learning or improve your job prospects; perhaps you want to support your children’s learning; or maybe you would like to increase your confidence or improve your health and wellbeing; or simply you want to enjoy the opportunity to learn. If you are looking for work, returning to work or thinking of a career change, we can help you reskill or retrain. Adult Learning’s job skills courses are a great place to start. Learn how to recognise your strengths, skills, and qualities, build your confidence in communicating, find out about self-employment, starting your own business and more.
Why not join a free English or maths course and help boost your career prospects or support your children with their homework? There’s a range of opportunities from beginners to GCSE level which include our popular Fast Track options. There are many flexible study choices for you to join at any time.


Would you like to become more confident using technology and the internet? Find out how to use your device whether laptop, tablet, phone, or computer. We’ll help you develop your skills with introductory courses from how to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to getting online safely, using social media, and online shopping.
If you’re looking for a different focus, a new challenge or simply the chance to relax and revive, our health and wellbeing courses aim to support your physical and mental health and wellbeing. We have a range of programmes including cookery, exercise, mindfulness, and Five Ways to Wellbeing. These can help you feel more positive and boost your confidence.
Each year we enrol over 5,000 adult learners onto our courses, which we offer in community venues across Norfolk and online, and with start dates throughout the year. There are lots of flexible course options to choose from, so that you can fit your learning in with your busy life. Many of our learners are eligible for FREE courses, which are funded through the Department for Education.
Our well qualified and committed staff offer high-quality learning and support, and this will prepare you well for your next steps. Following our most recent Ofsted inspection, we were rated as “GOOD” by inspectors.
